On Friday, August 28th, Liberty Athletics celebrated what has become a tradition over the last three years - a Girls Lacrosse State Championship Ring Ceremony.

Members of the 2026 Liberty Girls Lacrosse State Title team were welcomed onto the field at halftime of football's home opener against Glenville to be recognized and receive their rings.

Led by the 2026 Columbus Dispatch Coach of the Year,Tim Bosco, the 2026 Women’s Lacrosse team became the first team in district history to win back-to-back-to-back state titles in any sport. This team continued to rack up firsts for the school, region, and state, including:

- 4 consecutive 20-win seasons with their 20-3 final record

- Became the first team in school history to secure all four 1st Team All-State Position Player of the Year Awards.

- 4th straight regional championship and 4th straight state final appearance at Historic Crew Stadium

- Completed a gauntlet run including wins over #4 New Albany in the Regional Final, #2 Hudson in a 2OT comeback victory in the State Semi Finals, and #1 Upper Arlington in the State Finals
