Liberty Cross Country traveled to Dublin Jerome for the annual Celtic Clash under the lights this past weekend.

At one of the most exciting events of the year, alongside a strong field, the Patriot Boys and Girls teams put out a pair of strong showings.

The Boys finished 5th of 22 teams, scoring 136 points. They were led by junior Aarush Talekar who finished just outside the top-10 in 11th. Sophomore Caleb Legge finished in the top-25. Other point scorers included: Tommy Strunck (32nd), Carter Dillman (35th), Eliot Tully (36th), Will Bushbaker (49th), and Ishaan Chandakkar (60th).

The Girls placed 7th of 23 teams, finishing just behind Wadsworth who placed 6th. They were led by Junior Dasha Gogoleva who finished 28th. Other scorers included: Quinn Cachat (34th), Leah Berger (36th), Farah Minoui (51st), Chloe Pope (78th), and Madison Tyler (113th).

The program is back at it on October 3rd at Berlin High School for the Bear Den Dash!
